March 22, 2020 Message from Preacher Don Carter

In the wake of the COVID-19 virus threat and by order of the Governor of the State of North Carolina to limit mass gatherings to less than 100 people, New Hope will not be holding Sunday morning or Wednesday night services for the time being. Instead, Preacher Don will be presenting live stream messages or prerecorded messages on the web site, Youtube, and Facebook.  This is the first message. Please continue to visit this web site for updates and continue to pray for our church congregation and the leadership through this time of uncertainty.

Fall Revival with Rev. Hilton Woodell

revival2Although starting a week late due to the death of a Church memberthFall 2013 Revival was a blessing to those who attended. Rev. Hilton Woodell, pastor of Reedy Branch Baptist Church, delivered a word from God over the three night night revival. Many souls were blessed as he spoke about Living Joyously in Christ on Monday night. The Reedy Branch Choir shared several gospel hymns for us. Then on Tuesday New Hope Youth opened the service with music and drama and we enjoyed a special drama performance from Preacher Hilton’s daughter. His topic was A Heart for the Gospel. He encouraged us to share the Gospel of Christ with the lost. To reach the unreachable like the Romans who thought they were better than anyone else. Wednesday night Pastor Hilton shared the familiar story that Jesus told about building on the Rock. His Topic was The Truth about Entering Heaven As God Sees It. Building your life on the rock of Jesus secures your decision to make heaven your eternal home. Profession <–> Possession We have to not only Profess but also Possess a personal relationship with Jesus to enter into heaven. We thank the Pastor and his family for sharing with New Hope during revival. Thanks also to the New Hope Singes and the Youth Group and Reedy Branch Choir for music and drama selections this week.

Baptist Men travel to Men’s Rally at Western Prong Baptist

Tuesday – August 20, 2013

Even though the rain was coming down, the men folks of New Hope Baptist Church took a trip to Western Prong Baptist church for a spirit filled time in the Lord. Mr. Weldon had stopped under the shed to get out of the rain when a sudden storm cloud came up. Then one-by-one the men came to stand with him and watch the rain. After a few minutes Mr. Willie Cummings showed up with their van to load up all that gathered under the breeze way. We are so thankful to the Cummings Brothers for allowing the use of their van while the church van was in the shop for brake repairs. God will provide when we trust in Him for the little things and the big things. Please remember to pray for the brotherhood as they serve the needs of the community.
