New Hope Host the March 2025 Burnt Swamp Association Union Meeting. The theme was "Kingdom Focused Church". The Father and son team of Rev. Howard Jacobs and Rev. Zach Jacobs were the Key note speakers. Both brought encouraging messages to the 25 Burnt Swant Churches represented. New Hope welcomed everyone with a devotion from Matthew 28:19 challenging us to first focus on "Going" and making disciples. This was and intruduction to his message telling us the to be a Kingdom Focused church, we need to focu on three things - Evangelism, Discipleship, and Worship.

Reverend Howard Jacobs said he had a tough job to follow Rev. Zach. He echoed the theme of being Kingdom Focused with his message also from Acts. Both messages were anointed by God to encouage us. 

The New Hope Choir brought us several selections as well and the newly formed New Hope Drama Team. Pastor Zach is encouraging his flock in music minisry and it is apparent the church is growing from the children through the adults using their talents in praise and worship. 

After the messages, Moderator, asked for the roll call and the financial report and received a motion to tahnk New Hope for the hospitality. Brother Bill concluded his report with a special prayer request. 

The meeting was ajourned with a preayer and blesssing before moving the the fellowship hall for dinner.
